I have a phobia.
I don't like clowns. I hate it when people in great big character costumes try to come near me. I still don't like Chucky Cheese. When I was ten I dodged around the resturant trying to get away from him. I didn't climb under the table but I believe I thought that it would be a safe haven....
Does anyone have this problem? I would greatly appreciate knowing that I'm not the only one.

I have the same problem! I hate clowns and dressed up things! Its so hard at a parade on Idependance day, I step back into the crowd so I won't be seen, and they won't bother me. Thanks for sharing this, I thought I was a little silly!
I'm really glad to know that you have the same fear! It's nice to know that I'm not the only teenager out there that's still intimidated by clowns. :)
When I was little I used to be scared of Chuckee Cheese, but clowns don't really scare me...but I don't like them. Especially when they try to talk to me.
I don't think it is weird at all. :) I know several people who are very scared of clowns. :)

Hello! I met y'all at your cousin McKenzie's house... I am 26 yrs old and I still hate clowns and dressed up characters! The only difference with me now that I am older is that I don't run screaming in the opposite direction! But my heart still races and I get a panicky feeling inside!

I am sure you were too little to remember McKenzie's 3rd birthday. We had a clown at her birthday party. You and McKenzie both cried. She hid behind her bedroom door until the clown washed his make-up off. It was a fabulous party! :>) Maybe that scarred you for life!
