"Is it clear to others that you love them?"

I’ve been seeing some stuff that needs to change.
Some areas that need to be cleaned up and straightened out.
One of those areas is my relationship with my siblings.
“Is it clear to others that you love them?”
Wow, that’s convicting.

I love my siblings, they bring so much joy to my life but quite frankly that can be annoy me slap out. They give me sensory overload. :)

But to be honest I expect too much out of them. I need to work on being more understanding.

Selfishness is the root of so many sins. Actually I can’t think of a sin that doesn’t have its root in selfishness. Dying to self is so difficult. But I’ll do hard things or die trying. ;)

Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it..yet. Tomorrow is an opportunity to do better, to be more kind, considerate, and selfless.
"Selfishness is not living like one wishes to live, its asking others to live as one wishes to live." ~Oscar Wilde

I think you are a wonderful sister. You are very sweet and patient with them. Everyone has a hard time sometimes. Don't beat yourself up. Love you and can't wait for your visit.

Great post and a wonderful reminder!
Dying to self is so incredibly difficult at times; but when I take a step back and realize why I am here(to glorify God and enjoy Him forever) it brings everything I do back into a new perspective.

Love you,
M.E.

Hi Abigail,
Thank you so much for the sweet comment on my blog! Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I didn't see the comment until now, because I'm not blogging until probably around May, (after all my school testing).
I actually did know you were Carrington's cousin, and Lydia's sister, and that you know Eliza. (: I've been to your blog many times before, and love it! I have just never managed to click "comment" or "follow" (: hehehe.

Blessings~

Thanks for the reminder Abigail! I only have one brother but, still, I need to encourage him and build him up whenever I can!
