A Prayer Request~
I would really appreciate it if you all would pray for my grandma. As I said before she is completely clear on her scans. Praise the Lord! But she's been having a heaviness in her chest and she's gone to the hospital today so that they can regulate her heart and make sure that everything is all right. Please pray that everything is fine and that she will be feeling better!

A Baby Girl!
I'm so excited about our new little sister! It will be so much fun to have another precious baby girl in the house. After three boys I didn't think that it would happen! But it did! We are discussing names now. As some of you know we always keep the name a secret until the baby's born. It is always a Bible name. I just recently had the thought that I was the only one with a name from the old testament. I think that its neat to have a tradition with the name of each child. Our aunt and uncle are named Mary and Marc and they have each of their children's names start with an "M" too, McKenzie, Matthew, Madeline, Mariah, and Malachi. Anyway my mom just bought the first girl baby clothes!:D Oh their so sweet! She could never wear my stuff, its really out of style! It makes me laugh to see how bright the colors were!:) My clothes were bright reds, navy blues, and dark greens. The 90's were defiantly a era marked by primary colors!:D Well anyway I'd thought I'd share my joy!:)

Do you think my mom will have a girl or a boy?
I have three brothers and one sister and with another one on the way I'm speculating on what this baby will be. I would love a little sister! I wonder what she would look like. I'm the only one with my dad's black hair so it would be neat to have baby that had it too. It would be fun to have a little sister that looked like me. But another little brother would be great too. You wouldn't think that it would be but I it defiantly is! Its so sweet to see them be boys and play with their big brothers. I'd be happy with either though. So what do you think it will be?

I think that this is a book that girls really need to read. In a society in which faith, bravery, and heroism is watered down and people have terribly low expectations for young people this book tells of many people of all ages risking everything in order to stay true to their master and king, Jesus. Margret, nineteen, her brother Thomas, sixteen, and her young sister Agatha, thirteen, run away from their home for fear of the English dragoons capturing them. They hold true to their faith even if it means that they will have to give their lives. I real tear jerkier. I finished this one night a few weeks ago and I cried so hard the collar of my bathrobe was wet! These three siblings and all of the covenantors were aware of what God had called them to do. The Killing Times tested the faith of all and those who were song were often killed. As one of the amazing woman in the story, Margret MacLachlan said, "God has called us for either service or sacrifice". She told Margret and Agatha that in the old Testament God told his people to offer their cattle to him. Some of them were used for his service and they used their lives to work for him, but others he called to be sacrificed. The Amazing faith that those young people had is inspiring! My mom's about to start it. I highly recommend it!
